Renders

Architectural rendering projects (architectural renderings) are graphical visualizations of buildings, interiors or urban spaces that have not yet been built. They are created using 3D modeling software to provide a photorealistic preview of the final design. These renderings are used to present ideas to clients, investors or for design competitions. They can include realistic details such as textures, lighting, materials and landscaping, and help to understand the aesthetics and functionality of a space before it is built. Projects of this type can range from the design of individual buildings, to residential complexes, public spaces, interiors or even urban infrastructure.

Project Ideas

The idea of architectural redevelopment focuses on the transformation of a degraded or underused urban space, making it more livable, functional and sustainable for the community. The project starts from an in-depth analysis of the current state of the area, evaluating the condition of the buildings, public spaces and connections with the surrounding urban fabric. The main objective is to improve the environment, reduce the environmental impact and return a dynamic and accessible space to the city. The redevelopment of existing buildings can take place through recovery and enhancement interventions, maintaining valuable architectural elements and integrating new technologies to ensure energy sustainability and greater comfort. Public spaces will also be redesigned to encourage socialization and inclusion, through a redesign that promotes accessibility and safety. Furthermore, the project includes improving mobility, with a network of pedestrian and cycle paths that effectively connect the area with the rest of the city, integrating intelligent technological solutions for the management of public space. All with the aim of creating a greener, safer and more welcoming urban environment, capable of responding to the needs of the community.

Thesis

Restoration of the former municipal slaughterhouse of Villa Isabella in Ribera

Urban and Landscape Redevelopment - Degree Thesis “Living the city” through urban planning and “Preserving its historical and artistic heritage” through restoration. These are the two founding principles of this multidisciplinary study. The Degree Thesis addresses the topic related to the conservative restoration of the former municipal slaughterhouse of Ribera - in the province of Agrigento - together with the proposal for urban and environmental redevelopment of the neighborhood in which it develops; the project for redevelopment and urban and environmental redevelopment was drawn up according to which an agri-food market is planned in the premises of the former slaughterhouse. Some spaces will be used to host a cafeteria, a fruit and vegetable department, a meat department, a fish department, a bakery, a delicatessen and a wine shop, as well as allowing the weekly use of the market in the internal courtyards. The urban and environmental redevelopment proposal includes the creation of two squares adjacent to the architectural factory, one of which is also designed to promote the weekly market and the protection of citrus biodiversity and ancient Sicilian citrus crops, present in the area to the south-east of the squares, through the creation of a collector's park.

Video Render

3D rendering has become an essential tool in modern architecture, allowing projects to be visualized with surprising realism before they are even built. In the videos that accompany these digital models, the architect can narrate the entire creative process: from the conceptual phase, with sketches and drafts, to the final photorealistic model. These videos often begin by showing the context of the project, placing it in the surrounding environment to highlight the integration with the urban or natural landscape. Next, we get to the heart of the project, showing the virtual assembly of the architectural elements, with camera movements that explore the building from every angle. Particular attention is paid to the materials used, rendered with accurate textures and lighting, so as to provide a vision as close to reality as possible. The interior is another protagonist of the rendering videos, which often show detailed, furnished and illuminated environments, with a focus on the atmosphere that the space evokes. The use of dynamic elements such as people in motion or variations in natural light during the day further enriches the visual experience, bringing the project to life. Often, innovative or sustainable aspects are also highlighted, such as advanced technologies or eco-friendly materials. Accompanied by a soundtrack designed to reflect the atmosphere of the work, these videos do not simply show a building, but tell a story, emotionally involving the viewer.
